World Birdstrike Association (WBA)
The World Birdstrike Association (WBA) is an ICAO-recognised International Organisation dedicated to improving global aviation safety by reducing the risks posed by wildlife strikes.
WBA works in close alignment with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs), Annex 14, and ICAO Doc 9137 Airport Services Manual, Part 3: Wildlife Hazard Management. Through collaboration with States, regulators, airports, airlines, and industry partners, WBA provides a global platform for sharing knowledge, promoting best practices, and strengthening wildlife hazard management programs.
As an ICAO-recognised body, WBA contributes to international working groups, supports ICAO regional programmes, and engages with national bird/wildlife strike committees to ensure harmonised approaches worldwide. Our mission is to serve as the global voice of the wildlife hazard management community, enabling safer skies for all.
