ICAO APAC WHM/7 Meeting – Strengthening Wildlife Hazard Management Across the Skies
We’ve just returned from the 7th ICAO Asia-Pacific Wildlife Hazard Management (WHM) Meeting, held in the breathtaking mountain town of Pokhara, Nepal—a true Himalayan gem nestled among the snow-capped Annapurna Ranges.
Over several inspiring days, delegates from across the Asia-Pacific region gathered to share knowledge, foster innovation, and strengthen our collective commitment to aviation safety. From expert presentations to interactive discussions, the event was a powerful reminder of the importance of collaboration in addressing wildlife hazards at airports while protecting biodiversity.
A heartfelt thank you to ICAO APAC, CAAN, the sponsors, and our local hosts for their warm hospitality and seamless organisation. Your efforts created an atmosphere that encouraged meaningful dialogue and lasting connections.
The World Birdstrike Association (WBA) is proud to have participated and extends its gratitude to all delegates, colleagues, and new friends who continue to show unwavering passion and dedication to safer skies.
Together, we're building a future where operational safety and environmental stewardship go hand in hand.
Here’s to stronger partnerships and a safer airspace!
